This is so because, the English studies\u2019 syllabus, doesn\u2019t include a single subject that teaches the History and culture of Scotland. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea of ending the English Studies degree, owning the same level of knowledge about Scotland, as a person who had never received an education in this field, represented a huge nonsense and a mistake in my mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is educational entities\u2019 and governments\u2019 duty to face and upgrade the syllabuses taught at universities, by acknowledging, making amends and assuming responsabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this study I outline how it can be done, giving a new shape to this cultural vacuum, by walking hand in hand with historical progress.
